Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") carefully before using the services provided by PureWash Katy LLC ("PureWash Katy," "we," "us," or "our"). By scheduling a pickup, creating an account, or using our website, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by this Agreement in its entirety. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

 

1. About PureWash Katy LLC

 

PureWash Katy LLC is a Texas limited liability company providing residential and commercial wash-and-fold laundry pickup and delivery services in the Katy, TX area. We are not a dry cleaner and do not operate a commercial laundromat open to the public.

 

2. Services Offered

 

2.1 Standard Wash-and-Fold Service

PureWash Katy provides standard machine wash-and-fold laundry service only. All accepted items are washed in residential or commercial-grade washing machines with standard laundry detergent, then machine dried at standard heat settings and folded by hand.

 

2.2 Service Limitations — What We Do NOT Accept

We reserve the right not to accept any items that may pose a risk to our Customers, Staff,  or equipment such as:

      Dry-clean-only garments

      Leather, suede, or fur items

      Heavily soiled items (e.g., paint, grease, chemical contamination, biohazardous material)

      Items with excessive pet hair beyond normal household amounts

      Rugs, carpets, or large floor mats

      Items requiring special pressing, steaming, or hand-washing

      Items with known mold, mildew, infestation, or strong odors that may contaminate other laundry

 

If prohibited items are discovered after pickup, PureWash Katy reserves the right to return them unwashed. The customer will still be charged the minimum order fee plus any applicable cancellation fees.

 

2.3 Mesh Bag / Delicates Policy

Customers may place delicate items (e.g., lingerie, thin fabrics, socks) in a mesh laundry bag provided by or purchased from PureWash Katy. IMPORTANT: Items placed in a mesh bag are still laundered using our standard machine wash-and-fold process — warm/cold machine wash and machine dry. We do not hand-wash or use special cycles for mesh bag contents. By placing items in a mesh bag and including them in your order, you acknowledge and accept this limitation. PureWash Katy assumes no liability for damage to items in mesh bags that are unsuitable for standard machine washing and drying.

 

3. Scheduling, Pickup & Delivery

 

3.1 Scheduling

Orders must be scheduled in advance through our website (www.purewashkaty.com) or by phone/text at (346) 535-0470. Next-day service is not guaranteed and is subject to availability.

 

3.2 Pickup Requirements

Customers are responsible for having their laundry bagged and ready at the agreed pickup time. Laundry must be placed in a designated location accessible to our driver (e.g., doorstep, front office, designated drop point). PureWash Katy is not responsible for delays caused by inaccessible pickup locations or items left unattended before pickup is made.

 

3.3 Delivery

Cleaned and folded laundry will be returned to the same location as pickup unless otherwise arranged in advance. Customers will receive a notification when delivery is on the way. If no one is available to receive the delivery, laundry will be left at the designated drop location. PureWash Katy is not responsible for items left unattended after delivery has been completed and confirmed.

 

3.4 Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Cancellations made less than 12 hours before a scheduled pickup, customer no-shows, or situations where no laundry is available for pickup at the scheduled time will result in a $5.00 cancellation fee. This fee will be charged to the credit card on file. To avoid this fee, please cancel or reschedule at least 12 hours in advance via the website/mobile app or by contacting us directly.

 

4. Pricing & Payment

 

4.1 Pricing

Services are priced per pound, based on the actual weight of your laundry as measured by PureWash Katy at the time of processing. Our current per-pound rate is listed on our website at www.purewashkaty.com and is subject to change with reasonable notice. A minimum order weight may apply and will be disclosed at the time of scheduling.

 

4.2 Weight Measurement

The weight of your laundry is determined by PureWash Katy using our own calibrated scale. The measured weight at our facility is the weight used for billing purposes. Customers with questions about their measured weight may contact us within 48 hours of receiving their order.

 

4.3 Payment Method & Card on File

A valid credit or debit card must be saved to your PureWash Katy account before any order will be accepted or processed. By saving a card to your account, you authorize PureWash Katy LLC to charge that card for all completed orders, applicable fees, and any cancellation fees under this Agreement. Payments are processed securely through our platform provider. PureWash Katy does not store raw card data on our own servers.

 

4.4 Billing

Your card on file will be charged upon completion and delivery of your order, based on the final measured weight. You will receive an itemized receipt via email or SMS. In the event of a billing dispute, please contact us within 7 days of the charge at (346) 535-0470 or through our website.

 

4.5 Subscription Plans

PureWash Katy may offer optional subscription or recurring service plans in the future. Subscription plans are billed on a recurring basis (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly as selected) and are still priced per pound unless otherwise specified. Subscribers may cancel a subscription with at least 7 days' written notice prior to the next billing cycle. Cancellation of a subscription does not waive any outstanding charges or fees.

 

5. Liability for Lost or Damaged Items

 

PureWash Katy takes reasonable care with all laundry entrusted to us. However, the following terms govern our liability in the event an item is lost, damaged, or discolored during processing.

 

5.1 Our Liability Cap

In the event that an item is lost or damaged and PureWash Katy is determined to be at fault, our maximum liability is limited to ten (10) times the per-pound cleaning fee charged for that order, regardless of the item's claimed retail or sentimental value. This cap reflects industry-standard practices for laundry service providers.

 

5.2 No Liability for Certain Damage

PureWash Katy assumes no liability for damage resulting from:

      Pre-existing wear, weakness, or defects in fabric or construction

      Items not colorfast or prone to fading under normal washing conditions

      Items placed in a mesh bag that are unsuitable for machine washing or drying

      Items containing non-disclosed embellishments (beads, sequins, adhesives, prints) that are not machine-wash safe

      Shrinkage of items not labeled machine-washable

      Items prohibited under Section 2.2 that were included in the order by the customer

 

5.3 Claims Process

All claims for lost or damaged items must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery. Claims must include a description of the item, its approximate retail replacement value, and any supporting documentation (e.g., receipts). PureWash Katy will review all claims in good faith and respond within 5 business days. Submitting a claim does not guarantee compensation.

 

5.4 Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for inspecting their laundry upon delivery and notifying PureWash Katy of any issues within 48 hours. After 48 hours, all orders are considered accepted and complete.

 

6. Customer Responsibilities

 

      Ensure all items submitted are suitable for standard machine washing and drying.

      Remove all personal items (cash, jewelry, electronics, documents) from pockets before submitting laundry. PureWash Katy is not responsible for any items found in or lost from pockets.

      Do not include items of extraordinary monetary or sentimental value. Our liability cap (Section 5.1) applies to all items.

      Maintain an accurate address, contact information, and valid payment method on your account at all times.

      Provide a safe, accessible, and legal drop/pickup location.

 

7. Privacy & Data

 

PureWash Katy collects customer name, address, phone number, email, and payment information solely for the purpose of providing and billing for our services. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required to process payments or comply with applicable law. 8. Limitation of Liability

 

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY TEXAS LAW, PUREWASH KATY LLC, ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE USE OF OUR SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SPECIFIC ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

 

9. Indemnification

 

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PureWash Katy LLC, its members, employees, and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your violation of this Agreement; (b) your misrepresentation about items submitted for service; or (c) your negligence or intentional misconduct.

 

10. Modifications to These Terms

 

PureWash Katy reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this Agreement periodically.

 

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

 

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under this Agreement that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Harris County, Texas, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to bring claims as a class action or class-wide arbitration.

 

12. Severability

 

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

 

13. Entire Agreement

 

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and PureWash Katy LLC with respect to the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior discussions, representations, or agreements. No oral modification of this Agreement shall be binding.
